Caroline has created a calm and comfortable environment for her treatments. Her own clinic is situated within the grounds of her home with private parking available at the front of the property.
The Clinic is fully equipped with the latest version of the Theraflex physio unit designed to restore suppleness and mechanical efficiency throughout the spine and an ultrasound unit which promotes healing by increasing local blood flow to muscles, tendons, joints and ligaments. There is also a unique electronic couch designed to suit all.
Caroline’s background is in holistic health and fitness. She has had experience in running a whole variety of classes over the past 25 years ranging from aerobics, body conditioning, step, post- natal and movement, strength and flexibility for seniors. She continues to run weekly aerobics and body conditioning classes and has also devised her own core flexibility and strength classes based on her experience as a remedial therapist.
Understanding and promoting the importance of taking regular exercise on both a physiological and psychological level it was a natural progression for Caroline to explore the philosophy and science of ‘hands on therapy’ to improve the biomechanics of the human body. Having started with the underpinning of the holistic approach of ‘healing the whole, physically, emotionally and spiritually’ Caroline can, if necessary, ‘think outside the box’ and look at and advise on strategies to help improve the wellbeing of her clients’ emotional and physical interaction within their environment.
Caroline continues to be an active member of Wallingford’s Amateur Dramatic Society, The Sinodun Players. She involves herself in all aspects of the society, from being a committee member to directing, choreography and occasionally getting on stage. Her real passion is singing and whenever possible will involve herself in musical productions in or outside the theatre.
